Request from the Dr.'s office your X-Rays report. That is the best
place to start. The Dr, is also going my what you say, if you
indeciate that the problem does not interfe with your functions on a
daily basic then he see no problem.
I am speaking as one who has cervical spondylosis. It takes time to
develope. You may be able to go to a Chiropractor, Phyical Thertist
for som exercise.
If you still don't feel right then you have to request an MRI cause
you need both reports. Also get the report on that.
Anothe type of Dr who is familuar with your type of condition is a:
Physiatrist
A physiatrist is a doctor who specializes in physical medicine and
rehabilitation (PM&R). Physiatrists are specially trained to
diagnose, manage, and treat symptoms of acute and chronic pain. They
also treat injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal and
neuromuscular systems. Physiatrists generally practice out of
hospitals, private clinics, and rehabilitation centers. They offer
comprehensive, non-surgical treatment programs that help to treat
your whole body, not just your areas of pain.
You'll probaby need your x-rayss and MRI report so h/she can look at
what you have.
I was diagose several years ago and just continued on untill the
pain get to be so bad that I could not constrate on what I was doing.
At least that is my suggestions to start with. You might try heat
pad or ICE. Or ibuprofen (over the counter).. another place that you
can try for information
http://www.spineuniverse.com/,www.careplace.com use google to search
for information like that.
Hope this helps
Pete
