Workers Compensation Cases? Job loss?   Message List

Has anyone had a Workers' Compensation Case connected to their
cervical spondylosis? Twice I've sustained on-the-job injuries to my
neck that resulted in months of medical care and time away from work.
Now that this neck problem has been identified as something chronic
and degenerative, I am surprised that my employer has not challeged
the Workers' Comp claim/s.

On the other hand, I will not be able to return to my job unless a
doctor releases me to Full Duty, which requires extensive reaching and
lifting up to 75 pounds. My employer will not give me lighter duty
assignments. So I do feel that I am being closed out of my career
because of this ailment.

I would like to know of other peoples' experiences with employers.

Thank you.
