Hi: I was diagnosed this week with cervical spondylosis. At least 20
years ago I fell flat on my back in the kitchen. I never went to a
doctor but have had neck problems off & on since then. After reading
something on the Internet about the condition, I went to our family
doctor who took x-rays. He more or less told me to live with the
condtion which I've been doing for 20 years:) The pain & stiffness
hasen't been a problem since they come & go. From some of the things
I've read, people who have this condition can get to the point of not
being able to walk or control their urination, etc. I'm wondering if
this is inevitable?? I have a follow-up appointment with the doctor in
another month. I don't know if I should go to a neurologist or some
other specialist.
Thanks for any information you may have!!
