Re: [Cervical_Spondylosis] New here with Cervical Stenosis

Hi, Monica ... welcome to this very quiet group!
If you've read my 2 cents worth at the bottom of this note, you'll see what
I think the future holds for you. You can try the shots and the surgery,
but like I said, NO ONE has every come forward and said that they were cured
by them. Sure, the pain is contained for a while ... sometimes months, or
even a year, or only a few hours. The chiropractor only hurt me more by
trying to "adjust" my neck, twice a week for 2 months. He was the second
chiropractor and he was recommended to me (by name and address) by the
doctor I saw at a pain management clinic at our local hospital !!!! The
first chirpractor was recommended to me by the cousin of a neighbor. He
(believe it or not) never touched my neck! I had never been to one before,
so didn't know what he was actually supposed to be doing. He adjusted other
parts of my back and upper arms, telling me "it's all connected", then used
a deep massage machine on my back (but not on my neck) and did that for 6
weeks !!!! No help there !!!! The physical therapist told me I had to turn
my neck all the time, every day or I'd lose the ability permanently. Huh
!!! When I did that, the pain just got worse ... so back I couldn't stand
it. So, like I say, I just live with it. Yes, it hurts. Yes, I could feel
sorry for myself, but hey, I have a life to finish living here. I keep very
active and enjoy each day. Sometimes I even forget about the pain entirely.
But it's always there ... like when I have to check over my right shoulder
to back out of a parking space or switch lanes on the freeway. ouch !!!!
Good luck, honey. It's all mind-set. Rise above it. You can do it.
If God really, really loved us, he would have made our saliva taste like
chocolate!
