My name is Gloria and I have a Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy which I believe is the same thing. I have been from one neurosurgeon to another, and has come to the realization that there is no cure for it either. It seems to run in my family. My mom had it and one of my sisters just got diagnosed a few month ago and is really having a hard time dealing with it. As for me I am on year 12, so now at this point it is part of my every day life. I have been blessed with many people who no longer bat an eyelash when I start loosing my balance or cannot pick up something as simple as a penny. I even work part time as a church secretary, and teach Sunday school. I have plenty of teachers helpers to do the psychical things for me when I can't, and between that and the fact I am a commissioner on the board for the housing authority, I think I do very well. Don't let the diagnoses get you down. Remember you are not alone; God is going through this with you. You can email me anytime.
