Re: [Cervical_Spondylosis] How is everyone doing?

The best purchase I ever made was a book called Trigger point massage therapy by Clair Davies. It is a detailed explanation of how to massage the knots out of your muscles to erradicate bone pain.  I have had very little pain since starting this therapy it is fantastic especially as the dr told me to learn to live with the pain and to just take strong pain killers for the rest of my life

I strongly recommend this book

Thanks for the reminder to post!!
I've seen two neurosurgeons for a herniated neck disc that is pressing on my spinal cord. One recommended fusion surgery and the other recommended physical therapy, which I decided to try rather than surgery. I had physical therapy last January and have continued the exercises at home. I would say that "my condition" has remained stable and my neck is much stronger. I have learned that some things, such as heavy lifting, will affect the nerves in my hands and legs. I think I made the right decision, for now, not to have surgery.
Hope that others will post their progress:) Good luck to all. Sarah
