I'm a divorced 50 something lady. I'm recently divorced and looking to make the most the rest of my life. I would like to develop a casual relationship with a man, which could lead to something else but to be honest I'd like to keep things no strings attached unless I meet someone really great.

Hey group, I just made a webpage and I put some naughty pics of myself showing off in front of my webcam on it for the boys to see. I'm hoping to find some guy's who want to play with me on cam or hookup for hmmm...I dunno, lets call it "casual fun".
I'm in my forties and have spent the majority of my life unhappy and bored. I was one of those women who married their high school sweet heart straight out of school at a very young age without really knowing what else was out there.
I've only been with one man and as much as I care about him I'm looking for more, looking for some passion and some fun
I'm sure there are men in a similar situation as myself and right now I want something discreet chatting online is a good way to start

I'm Gail. All my paps were normal until dec '07. No one can explain why everything was normal then bam. "You have invasive cervical cancer" I was in total shock. I was diagnosed with stage 1b1 back in Jan. '08. I was supposed to have a radical hysterectomy but they left 1 ovary. So I guess it was a partial. Then in surgery they messed up my femoral nerve, which led me to not being able to drive for 3 months or walk that well. Anyways, everything turned out a-ok (knock on wood). And I can drive again.

Hi, I am new to this group. I was diagnosed with stage 2b cervical cancer after a history of routine normal pap smears. I would like to talk with anyone else who has experienced a cancer diagnosis after a history of normal pap smears.
Hi Linda,
How are you doing? I just now found this group. I was diagnosed at
age 38 with stage IIb also with a history of normal pap smears... my
most recent normal pap smear had been 17 months earlier... at first,
when i asked my oncologist how this could happen, she just told me
that it's rare but can happen. Now that I've come through the other
side of treatment and have energy to do research, I'm seeing the
possibility of misread pap smear slides... Another young 30-something
woman I met who was diagnosed with stage IIIb had a normal pap smear
about 6 months prior to her cancer diagnosis. I recently asked my
oncologist again how this could have happened and she gave me the
same old answer of it being rare but can happen. I asked her for
research journal articles b/c I can't find any, and she was unable to
guide me to any. I then asked if she thought it was possible that
the pap smears were misread and she answered "that's always a
possibility". It is frustrating, and I am just wondering how common
it is that women are being diagnosed with cervical cancer even though
they have had normal pap smears. Did you ever find out any
information?
Hope you are doing well,
Dana in Austin

Dear Petra,
It is exciting to hear that news, and I hope and pray that you have
been cured! I'm a cervical cancer (stage 2b) who had a history of
normal pap smears, and a normal pap smear 17 months before
diagnosis. I don't know if you are aware of the high rate of false
negatives in pap smears, but I've been doing a lot of research and
have learned that unfortunately a normal pap smear is no guarantee of
the absence of dangerous cells. I don't mean to scare you, just want
to encourage you to stay vigilant with your healthcare.
God bless you,
dana

Are you looking for caregivers or careseekers,I know a high-quality one

For the past three years I have participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life to raise money for a disease that affects far too many of us. For next year's event I am planning to take my fundraising efforts a step further and create a cookbook to be sold to the general public as a unique way to raise money.
Obviously my vision for this cookbook is for it to be practical, but also pertinent. Instead of just recipes with photos of the finished product, I thought it would be a nice touch to have the people submitting recipes to write a dedication to a loved one that has either lost their battle with cancer, is currently battling, or is a cancer survivor.
So...If you have a recipe and a loved one you'd like to dedicate it to (you can even dedicate one to yourself and tell your own story!!!), please feel free to send me an e-mail with the recipe, loved one's name, one photo (.jpeg form), and any personal dedication you would like to write. There is no limit to the dedication's length! Info can be e-mailed to: dhelbing@...
Please forward this e-mail, along with my e-mail address, to anyone and everyone you know who may be interested in submitting a recipe and dedication for this project!
