What did they stage you at? I am almost 2 years since diagnosed. I am a 2a. spread to the vaginal wall. Have you applied for social security disability, if you are not going to be working for more than a year ,you can apply now. check into it.
It seems like everybody is treated differently with this cancer, let me know how things went , i have some resources you can check out. Beth

Well, here I am at my 6 weel follow up and it wasn't a very good appt. After going through all that chemo and internal and external radiation I still have a bulky tumor in both my groin lymnodes...not very encouraging...my cervix is back to normal and the mass is gone but there is still alittle bulk but the doctor isnt all that concerned about that as she is about the nodes, and now they are concerned about the spots they see on my lungs and liver...so now I have to have another PET scan to see what lights up and then the doctor will determine what the course of teatment will be. It could just be chemo, or radical surgery or they may need to send me to a cancer center in Philly. I hate this waiting around, it makes me anxious and ansty. I feel i need to be pro active and start doing something to fight this now. I have the PET scan Mar 8 and the results Mar 14 so wish me luck... Kim
