Hi,
I have cervical cancer too and had bleeding after sex. Apparently because of where the abnormality is it weakens your cervix and often your menstrual flow will be set off temporarily on contact with the area. I haven't had readiation or chemo, mine was removed by 2 biopsies and a trachelectomy. I haven't had sex since the operation, it was only 3 weeks ago.
Hopefully your bleeding is only a temporary thing and will subside after more intercourse - otherwise, you should go and see your doctor.
Hope all goes well,
Cheers,
Kylie

Subject: [Cervical-Cancer] is this typical???
Hey everyone,
Had a question for all of you. I've just recently begun a relationship and it had now gotten to the physical part. This is the first I've been intimate with someone since I've been diagnosed and been through radiation and chemo (done those now and awaiting next step of treatment). My question is, is it typical to bleed alittle after having sex? We have only been together twice and each time this has happened. I vaguely remember this being mentioned, but just would like some insight from others that are and have been through what I have.
Thanks,
Kim
