Hi Karen,
I was disgnosed with stage IIB in May this year and had 28 external
radiation rounds, 60 hrs of brachy and 5 rounds of cisplatin with the
radiation. Apart from having the usual diarrhea during my radiation
and just after, I don't have many bowel issues now. I can say that I
have urgency more than I did before treatments, but nothing that's
unbearable or a real issue.
For info on colitis, you could try the Canadian Crohn's and Colitis
Association - www.ccfc.ca
What questions do you have? I may be able to find some info for you.
I actually do alot of internet research for my work and have become
pretty good at finding health stuff as well now.
Feel free to email me directly if you want - rowe.susan@...
