Hi April,
I am Kelley I am a stage 4 I looked up a stage 2 for you and this it what it said...
Stage 2 usually means the cancer is localized, but the tumor is larger than in stage 1. Sometimes stage 2 means there are nearby lymph nodes that have cancer cells in.
ASK your Dr to clarify stage 2 for you .. it means different things for different cancer I had uterine cancer that had spread to my lungs that made me a stage 4 The only place I did not have cancer was my cervix.. This diagnosis dose not mean you will get sicker and sicker.. I feel better then I have in years.. Please keep positive and know I am here for you

Hi all my name is april I am a 24 yr old wife and mommy to 2
beautiful girls who are 1 and 2 very little girls.I have been to
daniel for 3 yrs and he is a counselor at a childrens group home.I
was diagnosed with cervical cancer after my baby was born she will
be 1 on aug 30th.At first they just found"abnormal cells on my
cervix" so I had some biopsys done which in turn proved to be cancer
cells.I then had a cold knife comb procedure done that was 6 months
ago.I waited for awhile to go back to my doc for my follow up
because I was scared I know stupid me.Well when I went in I went in
because I was having alot of breakthrough bleeding, bleeding in
between my periods etc.My doc did a pap and found that my cancer is
in stage 2 now(although he never explained what this meant) He put
me on some birth controle pills to try and regulate my cycles and
well this failed I was still bleeding in between cycles now even
worse. He stoppped those and placed the nuvaring in to try and
controle my bleeding well I still have been bleeding and this
weekend have been having terrible abdominal pain and leg cramps. He
has told me to take the ring out as it sounds like its causing blood
clots in my legs(a side effetc of the ring by the way) He told me he
is going to do a dnc this month and in a few months he will be doing
a hysterectomy leaving 1 ovary so I dont go into menopause I am 24!
Does anybody here know what stage 2 cervical cancer means??Do I have
any other options or will I just gert sicker and sicker??
