I had stage 2a cervical cancer May 05 had total hysterectomy it has
been more than 1 year cancer free Best advice is after surgery have
a hard back chair on the side of the bed so you can help pull
herself up. expect to be in bed most of the time. I also had
chemo and radation(internal and external I still have some lingering
effect ' I am still required to use the dilator and will most likely
need to use it for some time. Sex is uncomfortable even after 15
months .. but I am alive beth abustan
