I too had the colposcopy and it did come back that I had invasive
cancer. I too had neg pap results every year. It is possible to have
cancer and it not be detected so my Dr says. Anyways not to scare you
but give you the other possibility. I did have a hysterectomy last
year and the cancer is gone. No lymph node spread. My chances are
95% that I remain cancer free. I am glad I had the surgery so I am in
a better position health wise. The hard part has been healing
emotionally as I didn't have children yet. Life for me is now a
different "normal" and lots of good has come out of this experience.
