Hi everyone,

Yesterday i was told that i have a Small Cell Carcinoma of the cervix.
It is extremely rare and very agressive. It is literally a 1 in 20
million diagnosis. In just a few months the tumour has grown to 4cm in
diameter. I've just had to drop everything so that i can start
treatment (i was doing Nursing at University, only a few weeks from
exams). I am going to be having Chemotherapy and Radiotheralpy and a
possible Histerectomy. I thought this might be a good place to talk
with others who have expierienced cervical cancer. Anyway just thought
i'd drop a message, don;t really know what to do with myself at the
moment. I don;t think it has really hit me yet.
