Monique,
Im sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Im newly diagnosed too,
though i dont know my staging yet. In regards to your friend, i
think that all people deal differently. Its possible that your
friend just doesnt know what to say to you at this point. Sometimes
others feel helpless. They dont know what to do or say, so they wind
up burrying their head in the sand. Give him a chance. I know that
what you probably need right now is someone to talk to, so seek out
people who will let you do that.
