My mother had one done. When she had it, the doctors put her under and did it
that way, however it only took a day or 2 before she was herself again.

I had one done about 8 years ago and it was right in the doctors office, I had
cramps for a few days but that was about all. Dont't get to worked up, you'll do
fine.
