Judy,
Yes, the doctors are leaving the decision of whether to go with a
hysterectomy or with radiation up to her, although they have said
that it might be possible she could have the surgery and still have
to have radiation.
She just had her ct scan this week, so I don't think they've
officially staged the cancer yet, but they've said it was probably
caught early. She had health problems to begin with, so it's a
matter of trying to decide which route would be the most strenuous
on her body. What type of side effects can we expect?
