Dear Petra,

It is exciting to hear that news, and I hope and pray that you have
been cured! I'm a cervical cancer (stage 2b) who had a history of
normal pap smears, and a normal pap smear 17 months before
diagnosis. I don't know if you are aware of the high rate of false
negatives in pap smears, but I've been doing a lot of research and
have learned that unfortunately a normal pap smear is no guarantee of
the absence of dangerous cells. I don't mean to scare you, just want
to encourage you to stay vigilant with your healthcare.
