FiTour Certifications/What size is your p.t. studio?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #754 of 894 |
Hello everyone. This is my first post and I have two questions.
1) Is their anyone who is FiTour certified? I am interested in working in a gym for 2-3 months to get more training and I am studying for the ACSM exam but I will not be ready to test until late June. If anyone is certified through FiTour or knows of any gyms who hires trainers holding the certs please let me know.
2) My second question is for those of you who have small personal training studios. What is the best sq footage needed if besides personal training I plan to do group (up to 10) training as well. I've been finding so many spaces in my area that are 2200+ and I'm not sure if that much space would be needed or not. I do not plan to have very much equipment, mostly free weights, stability/medicine balls, resistance bands, etc. as well as boxing equipment that can be hung or pushed against the wall when not in use. The last thing I want is to overpay for huge spacing that I do not need on top of it looking huge and empty to my clients.
Thanks so much for taking time to read through this e-mail. Any advice you have will be greatly appreciated.
Wasiah
Thanks in advance,
Wasiah
