Hi, well I choose ISSA due to the fact I won't have to take a test
anywhere but at home if I choose. So far I find there book well
written in lay men terms. I too called around to four of the major
gyms in my area and they accept ISSA. NASM is good my friend received
hers through them. Whichever one you choose you may want to go further
and do the NBFE exam. Then it really doesn't matter because you show
your comptent in PT. Also AFFA offers a study course after completing
your cert for the NBFE and you can also get a discount on the NBFE
exam during their APEX. You also might consider how much it costs to
recertify. NASM requires 2 CEU and ISSA requires 20. A good place for
that is DSF fitness. Well good luck in your quest for fitness. A
fellow Trainer to be. Dream big and watch your dreams unfold into
reality with determintation and purpose.
