I thought I was getting an email from Carole King the famous singer, good luck with your Personal Training!

ACE follows all of ACSM's guidelines. Everything you learn is based on ACSM. The difference is ACSM used to require degrees before taking their exams. That ruled a lot of people out. Their instruction, from what I understand, is also considerably more in depth regarding the biology (kreb cycle, ATP, etc). Some choose not to want to go that far. However, now, the ACSM PT exam does not require a degree. I have the ACE certification but plan to persue the ACSM one as well.

I'd love to hear opinions from those of you who have the ACE cert. When
I was looking into it there were several things I heard that made me
choose ACSM. First I searched a bunch of job listings, ACSM and NASM
were the top two required. Couple friends in the business recommended
ACSM. And The general impression I got was that ACSM and NASM were the
two that dealt more with the science behind why and how you train people
rather then just a boiler plate "do this".
My 2 cents.

ones?
Hello,
I'm looking into getting a personal trainer certification and I would
like to know if I should chose A.C.E over the other ones (like ISSA,
ACSM or NSCA)?
Thank you for your opinion and advices
