Being that it's for yourself, that probably makes the
decision easier since you don't have to worry about
what gym will accept what cert. ACE is very intensive
and thorough if you have the time on your hands to
delve that far into it. If you'd like a cert that
will provide you with some knowledge, some new
exercises, and a practical approach, AFAA is great,
not too expensive and has a hands-on segment that I'm
really a fan of.
Personally, I think the online certs aren't as
valuable because there is no face-to-face interaction,
hands-on demonstration, etc. Just my opinion. If you
