Re: [Certified-Personal-Trainer] introduction

Hi rob , I wont be much help as im in england, mabe we could swap some ideas or just find out how each other trains, I work for myself as a PT and have my own studio as for how much to charge I charge 20 pounds an hour which is just short of 40 dollars  but I have been going for about a year and a half and have built up to that. the best thing you can do I think is work for a gym the pay is shit , whill your there do as many courses as you can and join a couple of bodys so you can put some letters after your name. If you are thinking of starting up on your own . what makes you diffrent from the rest ? what sort of client do you whant ? why would someone cuse you and not someone else, you need something different , like me for instanse I have my own studio so I train people from hear . where I live Bedford (40 miles north of London) there are alot of trainers that go to peoples houses. so thats why im difrent. also I will never give my prices out over the phone ,because if your too cheap they think your shit and if your too expensive thay wont come . so I do a free conseltation so thay come round and see what i have got to offer. hope this helps mate.

regards

Anthony
