Hello, allow me to introduce myself...
I have just recently joined this group due to a search in Yahoo.
Although I am not a CERTIFIED trainer I have aided in the training of other women at my gym and belong to the World Natural Sports Organization (WNSO). I have also up to this point been my own personal trainer for the past 6-7 years with incredible success.
Upon starting my training I was 200 lbs and size 18 with a BMI just 4 points shy of Morbid Obesity. (yikes!) Within a year of training I achieved a wieght of 135 lbs and a size 8 and now rest in a healthy BMI.
I have just had a baby this past January and when I found out I was preggers I was a size 7 and just starting to see my ab muscles. I am presently a size 9 and trying to deal with the post pregnancy body. Hopefully I can glean from those here to get back to my size 7 and seeing my abs again.
I have also been thinking of going for my Personal Trainer Cerification due to the urgings of some of my fellow WNSO-ers and the women I have helped out at my gym...However with a new baby I may have to place this on hold unless I can find an internet/coresponant course so that I may study etc. here at home. Until then I continue my studies in nutrition and body chemistry as well as converse and compare with other trainers and those who have competed in the proffessional arena.
If it were not for my pregnancy I would have had my first figure compititon under my belt but that can still be done at a future date. At that time I will have a little fan in the crowd cheering on his mum....
