Description

This networking group is for current students and Licensed Massage therapists in Texas and is not limited to the Austin and central Texas area. You may wish to join a group specifically for the D/FW area. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DFW-Massage/ to join.

Postings to this message board may include questions about technique, expertise in an area for help with a client, asking for or receiving referrals, CE classes, job offers, office space, etc. Discussions break out on many different topics, including sate regulation and education requirements. We are here to help each other grow ourselves, our businesses, and support the profession.

This group is not a forum for politics or personal agenda. (Of course polite exchanges regarding changes to the massage thearpy law are always welcome.) We are not affiliated with any of the professional associations, nor do we adhere to any particular professional standard. Every opinion about technique or idea to increase business is welcome. Personal attacks on members, sexual messages and spam will not be tolerated.

Self-promotion is welcome and not restricted. We ask that you be moderate as to the frequency.

Etiquette in this group includes deleting the previous message before replying as a courtesy to the daily digest members. If you need help with this, contact the moderator.

Please limit group replies to those which will educate or in some way benefit the whole membership. To reply to an individual, use the “FORWARD” option on your e-mail program. If you have a different opinion than a post, we ask that you respectfully write to that person off-line. Private discussions are a welcome opportunity to hear someone else’s opinion on a deeper level.

For personal/spiritual growth networking and education classes that may interest massage therapists, please join http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CentralTexasMetaphysical/
