Dear Center of Attention subscribers,
Please find below information about the one-day conference Oct. 6 at the San
Francisco Marriott, sponsored by ADDA.
The two keynote speakers are two nationally prominent experts:
* Psychologist Stephen Hinshaw chairs the psychology department at UC,
Berkeley, is the author of a new book on mental health and stigma, and has
been a principal investigator on the MTA study.
* Therapist Wendy Richardson is an expert on the link between ADHD and
addictions (everything from sugar to shopping and more)
Both Dr. Hinshaw and Dr. Lew Mills (also speaking at the conference) were
guests recently on KQED¹s ³Forum² radio show on Adult ADHD. You can listen
here (or download to your MP3 player):

This one-day conference is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in solid
information about ADHD and make connections in the community.
