Election Results:

Our June 17 Annual Meeting resulted in an unambiguous new slate of officers
for the 2006-2007 year. We also changed the format of what we voted for a
little bit this year.

Although we have generally had an executive board of up to 20 people, it is
cumbersome to make day to day decisions that way. And it is even more
cumbersome to have elections for that many positions. So we voted to change
our structure to elect only four positions. This sub-group is now called the
³Steering Committee.²

You will see that we also elected a new coordinator. After an 8 year run,
Lew Mills, still your webmaster, newsletter editor and general roustabout,
is handing over the coordinator reins to Gina Pera! We can expect that this
will allow for some new ideas and healthy growth for the organization.

So, here are the new officers for CHADD of Northern California¹s ³Steering
Committee² of the Executive Board:

Coordinator - Gina Pera
Program Director ­ Beverlee Kell
Treasurer ­ Judy Marshall
Secretary ­ Lew Mills

We are all looking forward to a great year!

Newsletter moves to a monthly format

In order to make it simpler to predict when the Center of Attention
Newsletter will come out, we are moving to a monthly publication. Today¹s
newsletter is the last on the ³every three weeks² schedule and covers July.
The August issue will come out on July 24th and we will publish during the
fourth week of the month from then on.
