Hello Bethanne. My name is Blain and I have had two brain surgery's
and have been on the medication Keppra for 5 years now. It works
great. I had surgery do to a brain tumor, but it did not cure my
epilepsy. I take Keppra and Depakote. They are working great
together. I use to take Tegretol XR when I was yonger, but it really
didn't work good at all with me because I became so use to it. I'm
really wanting to know what hospital you are going to and what the
doctor is. After I had my second brian surgery at The Swedish
Epilepsy Center in Seattle, one doctor really wanted me to have a
third surgery, and that was just for him to make more money. The
third surgery would have done no good do to what other doctors said.
I am 36 years old and doing fine. I have a part-time job now, after
being out of work on disablity for 5 years. Nice to have a new member
and hope to here from you a lot. Love, Blain
