Yes, hallucinations *can* be part of partial seizures.
From the Epilepsy Foundation website:
"Partial seizures are the most common type of seizure experienced by people
with epilepsy. Virtually any movement, sensory, or emotional symptom can
occur as part of a partial seizure, including complex visual or auditory
hallucinations."

Are you seeing a seizure specialist? My step-son was diagnosed in
intractable epilepsy 26 years ago when he was living in Spokane with his
mom. He's in Seattle area with us now and sees Dr. Holmes at the Harborview
Regional Epilepsy Center.

Subject: [Cent_Wa_Epilepsy_Support] new symptoms
Hi-
I'm Karen from Spokane. I have simple partial/complex partial seizures from
the right temp. lobe and recently I've been experiencing something I think
may be related to my symptoms. I can be talking to someone or watching tv
and the faces or voices will become exagerated and disturbing. This can also
happen if I'm listening to music. I don't hear voices or see things that
aren't there but this has become a concern for me. My doctor isn't sure this
is related and wants me to see a psychiatrist thinking he may be able to
figure this out. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks!
