Hi everyone. My Brother has had Epilepsy since he was 12 (1983) and although
he's an
American Citizen, he's been living in Guatemala, because that's were he could
have someone
look after him (our mother.)

He's now in Miami with me and we have an appointment with Social Security where
we'll be
applying for Disability, but more importantly for Medicare so that he can be
seen by doctors
here in the U.S.

He's not insured, and we really need to explore new options.

Can anyone give us your input on this matter.

What qualifies you for these benefits?
Can they deny benefits to someone who's unable to control his seizures?

Appreciate any help.

Edgar
