My step-son is 37 and has had uncontrolled seizures since he was 12. He
moved to our area 6 years ago and we're working with a neuro at Harborview
Regional Epilepsy Center in Seattle and he's getting better control... but
it's all relative. At least he doesn't have full-blown grand mals any more
and the complex partials are more like simple partials. Since he started on
felbatol (along with the Keppra and Lyrica), he's having a lot less falls
but he still has a lot of clusters. He is going a few days between seizures
now. And rare is the day when he has only one.
