I am hoping for the docs at the OHSU (learning hospital) in Portland to give me other  options of surgery. I was told recently that I dont get to have the brain surgery. I will be seeing the docs there for a special meeting on 1-26-06. My hubby and I will go up there and see if there is any other was for me to get these serious seizures under control or gone. ITs the only way for me to have a life away from the Nursing home I am in now. The docs here wont release me from here unless the seizures are stopped or minimal. They also wont allow me to be away from the nursing home for more than 4 hours every now and then. I am feeling like I am trapped and have little chance of living a great life with my hubby in an apt. somewhere in town or in a near by town. We have exhausted our resources in trying to find a place to live that doesnt cost an arm and a leg. My hubby only makes $590.00 per month. this goes mainly for bills of his and gas.
