I hkave just been told that I need to go and see the docs in person in Portland OR in order to discuss why they dont believe the Brain Surgery is optional. They say that the brain surgery may be stto risky. So I am hoping that there are other options of surgeries that I can try and then keep in touch with my neurologist and the docs at the OHSU. I am desperate for a solution that will work and get me out of the Nursing Home where I live now. I feel that there isnt much hope otherwise. I am always having to do things/activities with my hubby at a set time limit. I am always having to schedule appts and other outings with him(Russ) but that I have to go back tko the nursing home and then hke and I have to say bye again and this is NOT the way to live with my hubby. He lives 40minutes aways from me and He always looks so sad when we say goodbye at the end of every visit. Do you have any ideas as to how I can become cheerier? do you or others you know have any ideas as to another method of drugs I could try that you have tried and have worked for you? I could use all the ideas and help you could get/send me. pls pass this message along to others in this group that could possibly help myself and my hubby. Our apt looking and putting our name on many apts for those places have been all looked out(all exhausted) now. All the places have a 4yr waiting list. we are on all of them but are finding No relief.              Pls keep us in prayer if you do that sort of thing.   Bye for know.   Bethanne

to my doctor about Depakote because, it is making me really
depressed, just about all the time. Maybe if I go off Depakote and
back on another that I have not taken in along time, I'll feel
better. About my job. I quit that job. They cut me down too only 5
hours a week, and the new owners of the store scheduled me for
Sundays, where I would have to walk all the way to work. But,
tomorrow I'm getting signed back up with WorkSource and Peopleworks
and finding a different job. Wish me luck. blain

The place where I live at the nursing home has so many neat things
to do during this season. I really love it there now. I just hope I
can move to a low income place once the surgery and therapy is
complete there some time next year in Jan.
