RE: [Care-to-ShareSupportNetwork] Re: No speech today

April

What I did was have it written into Kyle's IEP that a note in the communication log is to be made every time he has a therapy so I can keep track of what he has on what days and if any are missing.

We just had the same issue with OT this week..

Exactly - really it was the teacher who let that slip that the therapy
was not done and so it's her word against mine so how do I get a copy
of the dates of therapy? Is there any documentation that I can ask for
to ensure they either have not violated the law or that they need to
schedule a make up.

I called the SLP today to plainly state I learned that the kids didn't
have speech one day a week ago and to find out when they plan to
reschedule that due to a conference but she was having a group sesson
and needed to call me back after 3 pm. If anyone has any information
on how I need to proceed please let me know.

I don't find her or the nastly case manager to be upfront and honest at
all, playing dumb when I wanted to know my son's progress. Wed we head
to an attorney, so perhaps she can answer some of this.

Thanks so much - April
