Bringing women with cancer together for support and friendship.
Only someone who has cancer can truly understand what you are going through. As women, we tend to be the caregivers in the family. That doesn't change when you find out you have cancer. Your job as mom, wife, daughter ect...doesn't stop with your diagnosis.

When you find out you have cancer most people will not know what to say to you. You may find that you can't talk about what you are going through to many people in your life out of fear of making them feel uncomfortable. This is a group that was started so that us chicks with cancer can bond and talk about what is going on where others understand and you can feel comfortable. You can talk about your fears of living with cancer, even your fears of dying from cancer.

Requirements for membership...
1. Be a woman between the ages of 18 and 100 years old.
2. Have any type of cancer, in remission or active.
3. Be young at heart and have a desire to live a full life.
4. Be willing to be active in the group, supporting eachother during the good times and the bad.
5. and lastly, you will hopefully have a good sense of humor! As they say, laughter is the best medicine.
