Was wondering if you could help spread the word about this and
perhaps encourage some votes?

Jennifer Zwilling, a 16 year old junior from Jericho High School is
a 2007 BRICK Award Winner, (www.brickawards.org) and has been
awarded $5,000 to be donated to The Tourette Syndrome Youth
Ambassador Program, which she founded with help from her sister,
Amanda and brother, Eric. The BRICK Award "recognizes and supports
social change-makers age 25 and under" (CNN). However, she now has
the opportunity to become a Golden BRICK Award Winner, which would
mean an additional $15,000 donation to the TS Youth Ambassador
Program.

There are currently 12 (2007) BRICK Award Winners from the US and
Canada. Four of these amazing 12 young adults will become Golden
BRICK Award Winners, based on an Internet voting system. To vote,
one must log on to www.brickawards.com from today until April 9th.
On April 12th the BRICK Awards will air nationally on the CW (channel
11 in the tri-state area) and the 4 Golden BRICK Award winners will
be announced.

Jen would really appreciate help in raising awareness about TS and
would appreciate any coverage you might be able to give her program.
You can see information about Jen's program at http://www.tsa-
usa.org/People/kids/YouthAm.htm

This Peer Advocacy Program, which has national funding.(www.tsa-
usa.org/People/kids/YouthAm.htm) aims to help children with Tourette
Syndrome, a greatly misunderstood disorder, advocate for themselves
within their peer groups, schools, and communities. Additionally, the
program trains teens with and without TS to educate and train their
generation about TS. To date, the program has been personally
presented by Jen in approximately 50 schools, and over 100 teenagers
have been trained to become Youth Ambassadors nationwide.

Jen now needs local support to obtain the Golden BRICK Award which
means $15,000 to her Program. In order to support Jen, she needs to
spread the word and to encourage votes at BRICKAwards.org

Jen has also been awarded a Bronze Medallion as a Distinguished State
Finalist in the Prudential Spirit of Community Award program this
year.

Thank you for your time.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.

Thank you,

Jane Zwilling
