This is an email study group for Medical Staff Services Professionals preparing for the CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) and/or the CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Staff Management) exam. Although the exam is given by NAMSS (National Association for Medical Staff Services), this group is not affiliated with or endorsed by NAMSS, or any national, state, or local organization. We are a group of Credentialing/Medical Staff Services professionals studying for the certification exam(s) who wish to communicate with other professionals also preparing for the certification exams. Topics for discussion may include JCAHO and NCQA standards, medical terminology, medical staff case law, management techniques, or any other topic relating to the Medical Staff Services field.

Membership is required.

RULES OF MEMBERSHIP:
1. Include a brief introduction of yourself along with your certification goals to the Moderator, include which exam(s) for which you are preparing.
2. Include your first name in your Profile so other members will know how to correctly address messages to you directly.
3. Message postings for all new members will be moderated for a period of time to ensure no spamming occurs. It may take up to 24 hours for your message to be posted.
4. Please avoid posting frivolous or off topic messages. However, if you must, please mark frivolour/off topic posts as such, i.e. FRIV or OT.
5. Do not post "chain letters," jokes, or spam messages to the group.
6. Avoid reposting messages because you didn't get many responses.
7. Vendors will not be allowed membership to CPCS/CPMSM Exam Study Group.
