It was the same here. Lyrica was rx by the pain doctor for all the misery the
CMT was dumping on me. Any relief is really appreciated, so I took it for a
week, hoping for the best. Honest, it was like an amplifier that increased every
nerve to scream louder. Then the right leg leg & foot swelled badly. I took no
more, those side effects were enough for me. The one doctor scolded me, saying
that one bad week was not enough time for the body to adapt to a new drug.
Sorry, but that kind of torture cannot be tolerated, especially when I felt so
much better after I stopped. We are all so very different.
