The main topic of this group is to have Discussions offering possible solutions to those suffering from CHF or simular problems resulting from Obesity. My name is Gary Long and at the age of 51 and over 400 lbs, I was suffering from CHF, Diabetes and an enlarged heart. My Doctor said I should not lift more than 20 lbs or walk more than 20 minutes. I was also on 9 different medications. I decided to do something about it. On Feb. 15, 2006 I left on a "Walk across America." One year and 180 lbs later, My cardiologist said I may be the first human in medical history that has reversed CHF. Not only that, I no longer had diabetes or an enlarged heart. I want to share with folks what I have learned and what has made me healthy. I will not screen messages and you can write what you would like. I hope that through this discussion group there may be others that are suffering from CHF or other heart and health problems that can benifit from this shared knowledge.
