Vibrational Medicine
++++++++++++++++++++
Have you noticed how some people are much more authoritative than
others, and some folks are more positive, passionate, engaging and
enthusiastic than others?
Some people easily get other people's ATTENTION when they speak, or
when they enter a room, or when they join the crush at a bar to order
a drink, while others bewail that "no-one listens to me!", or "I was
there - didn't you see me?" or "I feel like I am invisible!".
Some people stand alone at a party, while others quickly draw a
crowd, and yet others hover on the outside of a group, or "cling
desperately to someone else's coat-tails".
This vibrational quality/power of "influence and attraction" is often
called CHARISMA or "personal magnetism".
Charismatic people do not talk or laugh the loudest, the fastest, or
have the most to say.
...However they might well sing, dance, write, dress, act, paint (or
even love!) the loudest, fastest or with the most "substance-ial
content".
People are drawn to the CHARISMATICS like bees to a flower - for they
carry their own personal inner/outer flower essence! Like the bees,
they are buzzing! Like a top they spin and they hum. In popular
parlance, these folks "ROCK!!", or to put it another way - VIBRATE!
Vibrational Medicine
-----------------------
The goals of Vibrational Medicine are to calm down or "activate &
release" the mental/physical/vocal/spiritual vibrations that promote
dis-ease, and to activate and strengthen the natural and self-
expressive mental/physical/vocal/spiritual vibrations that promote
health, joy, love, peace, happiness and contentment.
Flower essences and crystals are what most people think of in
connection with "Vibrational Medicine" and they do, of course, have
their place. The Shamanic traditions through the ages have used a
wide variety of "Vibrational Medicine" technologies, including
therapeutic and hallucinogenic plants and also Rattling, Chanting,
dance, stillness, breathwork, voicework, posturework, meditation
including shaking meditation, ritual, expressive sounds and "laying
on of hands".
When our ability to emit positive powerful vibrations is weak, or
confused or sabotaged by mixed messages/conflicting inner vibrations,
we lack power and charisma and may find ourselves excessively
sensitive, vulnerable or "fragile" to the vibrations of the world and
people around us. This can lead us down the path of being very
controlling (to protect our perceived high-vulnerability), or being
easily controlled/manipulated by others - because our personal
vibrations are so weak or confused.
How Vibrational Medicine can Guide Our Life Path
-----------------------------------------------------
A basic principle of most spiritual paths isthe "oneness" of all
things and people.
Thus we each have an important place in the "great scheme of things".
Vibrational Medicine helps us to...
a) find our place in the jigsaw of life;
b) find our personal PATH through life and its many difficult
decisions and tempting opportunities
..we can do these things by TUNING INTO the vibrations of the world
and people around us, PLUS tuning into our own inner vibration, then
setting an appropriate distance from other vibrational sources and an
appropriate amount of our time to spend in contact with them.
Preventing & Healing Trauma Patterns via Vibrational Medicine
----------------------------------------------------------------
Do you recall the exercise we did last time of pushing and pulling
each other in order to build flexible strength and groundedness??
Life is to some extent like a game of skittles....
As life events/relationships impact us, we take on "wobbles" like a
skittle hit by a bowling ball.
Our "wobble" (vibration) impacts the other skittles around us and if
they are vulnerable (have a certain instability) they will start to
wobble too. Their wobble impacts back on us, and may help to keep our
wobble going or even make us even more "wobbly".
Of course, wobbles in the people around us may lead them to impact on
us, leading perhaps to a "domino" effect (as in the present "credit
crunch"), or alternatively, other people "hit on us" (with or without
our agreement) in order to bounce back upright themselves.
Sometimes we have been wobbling so long that it has become either an
ingrained habit, or a continuing vicious cycle (i.e. we give out the
wobble and it comes back to us, like an echo, from the people,
projects or environments around us) or, worst of all - a long-term
wobble becomes part of our "identity", our sense of who we are and
all that we can be.
There can also be short-term negative gains/pleasures from wobbling
against others which help it to become an addiction:
For example...
1. Wobbling into others may be the only way we know of feeling
connected and close to others e.g. by teasing or irritating them.
2. Wobbling into others - or supporting the wobbles of others - may
be an important way in which we experience our own power and
significance.
In the shamanic approaches to healing we have a good range of ancient
and modern techniques for letting go/preventing our own
unfulfilling "wobbling tendencies" (vibrations), and minimising the
impact of other people's wobbles on us, so that we can function
sustainably as a healer and avoid the slippery slope of creating co-
dependent relationships with our clients.

"Vibrational Medicine" - shamanic approaches
--------------------------------------------------
November 29th 2008, Sunday 1.30-7.30 pm. Location: Bar Hill,
Cambridgeshire [5 miles from Cambridge on A14]
2 places still available. Cost: £20. Call Mike on 01954-789966 or
email via
http://www.sunflower-health.com/forms/enquiry.htm
The workshop will cover a wide range of "Vibrational Medicine"
technologies, BUT NOT crystal therapy or flower remedies, which are
well-covered in other courses. We will be working with...
* STILLNESS (the void from which quality vibrations emerge and to
which they will return in a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle)
* VIBRATING THROUGH THE CHAKRAS (to energise and clear them)
* BUILDING HEALTHY VIBRATIONS (important in psychic protection and
vibrant living)
* CALMING UNHEALTHY VIBRATIONS (e.g. those that arise from traumatic
experiences)
