Hi All,

Well, just had to write my latest progress report on the FIR program.
I'm nearly 3 wks into now, I'll sauna tonight and tomorrow should be
about 3 wks on it. I am trying to 'be cool' (which is getting hard!)
about the results I'm seeing, cause I don't want to get too optimistic,
then be disappointed, but I am noticing DEFINITE changes. I had NO
energy to do anything, just taking a shower wore me out! I was only able
to do one thing per day, like mop a small floor, or go get some
groceries, or do laundry. And wasn't leaving the house much anymore
because I was just to tired to function when I got out in the world.
Rarely would go anwhere more than once a week, just didn't have the
stamina. I would get winded very quickly doing much walking and
especially if uphill or any challenge to it. Brainfog was horrible!

Well, last Sunday, husb and I went 'to town', the nearest larger town,
about 30 miles away and went though several big stores. Went and had a
meal and then stopped at Walmart and shopped that whole store too on the
way home! Managed to get out and do my groc shopping one day, rode my
horse one day, then cleaned the barn myself cause my husb had to work
late and even did some extra shoveling after that! Thurs I drove myself
130 miles away to go visit the BLM holding pens for the wild mustangs. I
love to go visit these horses, but its just soooooo tiring for me, its
such a huge facility. I haven't enjoyed my 3 previous visits over this
last year nearly as much as yesterday. I was able to walk slightly
uphill the whole way out to the back pens (about 1/4 mile) and stayed
there for almost 3 hrs on my feet watching the horses and taking
pictures with friends who live near there. Even the heat didn't bother
me like it always had! For the first time I did not get winded walking,
my heart didn't do the thumping it does whenever I walk uphill, and I
could keep up with the others! Then we went to visit some of their other
friends and walked all over their place looking around, then I drove the
130 miles back home, fed my horses here, read about 100+ emails that had
piled up and was tired but never reached that unbearable fatigue state
I've been living in for so long! One of the biggest nicest things that
is changing is my eyes are no longer so fatigued and not burning so
badly, so I feel much safer and more relaxed bout driving so long.

So today, I thought OK, I'll be paying for doing so much more than usual
this week and if I do thats OK, its worth it! For once I'd be tired from
getting out and doing something, not just from eating, breathing and
existing! I woke up pretty tired as usual and then felt a little better
and today have done the laundry, swept and mopped a floor, washed some
dishes, took a shower and got dressed and drove to a friends yard sale
to visit with them and look around. I just can't believe the difference
in how much I'm able to do in such a short time on Jim's program. The
other wonderful thing is the brain fog is lifting so that I can TALK
straight again, and not have to be afraid to be around people because I
am too tired to think/talk straight!

Yes, I've still got lots of room for improvement, but my condition was
flat line, no changes for the better in many years, and getting worse
the last 5 yrs so I was very skeptical when Jim kept saying I'd feel
better in a few weeks. I just could not even conceive of that, LOL.
And I sure hope and pray others do this program too and get to see
improvement in their condtions!

the other thing I've noticed is a couple days when I was out and busy I
went for 8 hrs or more without even thinking of food or getting hungry.
This too is huge for me! I have felt like I'm literally starving these
last years, even tho overweight, so I feel that problem is getting
corected as well.

OK, now I know what Jim C is thinking already, haha! Don't overdo it, so
this weekend I will try hard not to use too much of my newfound energy
trying to catch up with life all at once and not let my body have any
of that energy to heal itself. I have been listening!

I sure hope this is what you are all seeing. I guess now I can
understand why when people try the program and get better they want to
go out and get on with life and not take the time to share whats been so
successful with others. So I'm taking the time to share it with whoever
will listen.

Yes, my pain levels are somewhat better too, I have both CFS and FM and
the two are very intertwined. The pain for me is often expressed in more
fatigue, so what helps the one condition helps the other for me.

I will continue to share as things progress, but hope anybody out there
who isn't trying this program yet will try it. And do it with Jim's
guidance to tweak it to your own specific needs and experiences. Its
appearing to be the best $400 I ever spent on anything, much less
anything medical! For the price of one or two tests that do nothing to
correct my metabolic condition, or just a fraction of the cost of a
visit to any CFS specialist, here is something that can really help turn
things around.

Yes, its a bit of work to get yourself trained to do all the aspects of
the program, the sauna time, the supplements taken the right way and
right times, and the right minerals taken the right way, and the other
aspects. But well worth the time and effort, as just using parts of the
program I'm convinced will not get the same effect, it works together as
an integrative program to correct the cascade of problems and imbalances
that we have. Thats why guidance through the program is essential. Once
you get used to doing it all, it becomes routine and no longer seems
hard. And for ONCE I've found a program that generates its own energy to
keep doing it. Most the time now I forget my other supplements I used to
take (that never made me well anyway). I've been too busy out doing
things to think about taking all that stuff since it never made me well.

OK, I could say more, but am going to wait till I get a little further
along and have more to share. But God Bless you Jim, you were right!
I'm so glad I listened to you.

Marcia
