The Corporate First Responder Network is a collection of volunteer, non-profit, and commercial Texas Department of State Health Services registered
First Responder Organizations (FRO) and Medical Emergency Response Teams. We are the entities that are activated in a medical emergency and respond to our area of responsibility. We provide immediate patient care while the Austin/Travis County EMS unit is activated and/or enroute.
As a group we interface with the
Austin/Travis County Emergency Medical Services. Our collaboration as a group provides our members with a central source of bi-directional information and communications with the Austin/Travis County Emergency Medical System which is our primary transport provider.
In many cases, the Medical Director for our transport provider (Austin/Travis County EMS) is the Medical Director of our member FROs. This way we operate under the same or agreed medical protocols to provide a seamless continuum of care for our patients.
The purpose of this message group is to facilitate communications, distribute timely information and notices within the Corporate First Responder Network related to operations, policy, procedures, and dispensing patient care. You're wecome to
e-mail us if you have questions.
The regular membership meeting is at 11 AM the First Tuesday of each even numbered month at The Office of the A/TC EMS Medical Director
Members are not to use this message group to promote commercial interests. Members posting commercial advertisements will be removed and banned from re-joining.
