Hi all,
My name is Linda and I live in the upper Dimond area of Oakland (near the Mormon Temple). I will be 58 years old in August. I have noticed I had Fibromyalgia symptoms since 1989 (before I ever heard a name for it). I currently have FMS with peripheral neuropathy (really painful feet) and other painful things relating to my feet. I'm not sure if they have any relationship to FMS or it's just the hand I was delt. I tried going the natural route but surrendered to pharmaceuticals to care for my symptoms. I have not been able to work since 2005.
Are any of you aware of the Fibromyalgia Support Group in Berkeley? It's the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Alta Bates Hospital, Herrrick Campus. I've been going for a couple of years and it's very informative with very nice people. We have speakers every other month and "Gab" sessions to find out what's been working for people.
Just thought I'd stop lurking behind my moniter.
