Re: [CEFSFB] Anybody know of any Doctor's who treat me/cfs?

Hi Terry~ As far as I can tell, my PC doesn't seem to know much abt cfids/fm but she's very kind and patient and always willing to refer me to a specialist. Her ofc. staff are also very kind and helpful. Once, when I thought of going to a specialist out-of-pocket, she was willing to order any tests he might suggest (so my insurance would pay for them). She's also accepting of the fact that I do herbs, supplements, etc. She definitely seems to take me seriously.

She's had two babies in the past 2+ yrs. so I don't know if she's cut back on her hrs., is taking new patients, etc. Her name is Mei Ling Fong, she's at 25th and Balboa and her number is 415-751-1446. She's w/Brown and Toland Med. Grp. Her ofc. takes insurance. She has a twin sister in practice w/her, but her last name is Lucas. I once saw her other associate when I was having a bit of an emergency and I liked him a lot~ Dr. Rasmussen, or something like that. Very calm, listened, seemed to care. I was having scary chest pains. He diagnosed esophageal spasms and he was right but he sent me to a very nice cardiologist anyway~ Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee seemed very thorough and was a gentle man.

You have my empathy and wishes for getting your needs met.

Blessings, Deborah

I need to see a cardiologist but can't unless I have a referral from a doctor. The doctor I used to see was wonderful but he died in November.

Does anyone know of a good doctor who takes this illness seriously and will listen to their patients?

Wishing everyone much peace-

Terri
