Re: Kaiser Referral Requested

Thanks, Chris.

My fibro is pretty mild - more achiness and soreness than actual pain, so I
don't think the pain clinic is for me. I wish you best of luck and hope you find
great relief!

I have looked on the Kaiser website, no docs say that they work with CFS...when
my primary care provider (internist) tried to refer me to rheumatology they said
they wouldn't take the referral/"don't treat CFS"....still trying...

program years ago and it was helpful.  I have just  re-enrolled and I believe
they have a section devoted to Fibro.  I will let the group know how it goes
after my intake appointment this week.  I would suggest looking at the Kaiser
web page and see if any of the Dr's click for you.  After I re-enrolled at
Kaiser my doctor immediately referred me to the pain clinic (as he in not a pain
specialist)  where my case will be monitored by a pain specialist, physical
therapist and another Dr.  So far they have been very helpful and taken my case
seriously.  I hope that helps.
