Has anyone else applied for the Stanford study on using Valcyte for
CFS? I recently got tested for the EBV and HHV-6 antibodies and was
surprised to find out that they were positive. So I applied for the
study and am now waiting for them to schedule a screening appointment.
I'm ambivalent about participating because it's a lot of driving and
time commitment for someone with limited energy, and they don't even
reimburse travel expenses let alone pay you to be a subject! And I
guess half of the participants will be getting a placebo so I may not
even be trying a real treatment after all that effort. Is anyone else
going from the East Bay?
