Hi! I'm new to the group. So does anybody have a doctor to recommend
in the East Bay?
It sounds like a good doctor is really tough to find.
I guess I'm looking for a doctor with an open mind. One who will
believe me. One that doesn't think I can get better by taking
vitamins and eating/drinking healthier or that it's all "in my head".
And of course, one that takes insurance.
Personally, I've knowingly had CFS since Dec 2006, unknowingly since
2004. It sounds like compared to most cases, mine is mild, but it
certainly keeps me from living my life like I should/want. It seems
to be worse in the winter. I wouldn't mind discussing more of why my
CFS is there and hearing other people's theories as well, but my
first goal is to find a doctor.
Thanks Whitney for taking initiative on the "good doctors" list. It
is much needed.
