Re: having a hard time

Hi Sarah,
As others have said, you are brave to have reached out to get some needed support.  Good for you!  I appreciate the responses you've had to your posting--you've obviously struck a chord in many of us.  I'm a long term CFIDS person myself--21 years last month.
One more idea to support you in following your dream of writing (also my life-long dream)--this came to me this morning:  I googled two items:  "writing classes online" and "writing groups online".  Tons of sites came up!  The classes at the top of the list are pretty pricey, but the groups offer a lot that seems less expensive.  One site has a long list of free articles.  I glanced at a couple and they looked pretty good.
I'm planning to go back and look more deeply into this after the first of the year.  I've got lots of ideas for projects, but haven't set up a writing schedule.  Thank you for inspiring me to get going on this!
Happy writing,
Lily

I agree with the person who mentioned the pressure to be 'positive' in our culture. Living with ME/CFS makes it hard to be positive and upbeat -- most people...
