I'd like your comments on this please...
I recently went to see the doctor at the teaching hospital I go to, and
I mapped out a plan via fax ahead of time. This was my first visit. I
faxed and asked him to run some tests based on old medical information
from NIH. The appointment lasted for 45 minutes, he billed my insurance
$450 and he agreed on the plan to test me again for 3beta and some other
tests (billed my insurance for $450).
After I left, I realized he'd forgotten to mention the pain in my side
that I'd faxed him about, and then I noticed he'd only tested for DHEA

That didn't ring right, so I wanted to talk to the doc, faxed him 3
questions, waited a few days for either a call or a fax. Nothing. So
I faxed him the questions again. Nothing. To make a long story short,
(and a long time lapse and much pressuring on my part) the head of the
department finally told me I'd have to get more tests for 3 beta HSD but
he also reminded me that the parameters of the 3beta HSD test scores had
changed.
Has anyone had this much trouble getting re-tested?
Then it suddenly dawned on me after the appointment, that he didn't
