Hi,
I am also experiencing girls and puberty. My twin girls turned 12 Thursday. I
survived the party last night.
We are dealing with possible growth hormone problems with them. I am the one
with CAH, but I have had them monitored since I am concerned about hormonal
problems with them, including extremely short stature. I am only 4'8".
Now we have been advised to do a clonidine stimulation test. My girls are very
anxious about all of this. What have you done to get your children calm and
coorperative for medical tests?
I would appreciate any advise.
Becky

Hi All!
Well since we haven't heard from anyone in a while, I'm assuming that
everyone is healthy and happy. My girls had their 6 month check-up yesterday.
Since it's a 2 1/2 hour drive we made a day of it in the "big city"! LOL! They
are doing fine but going through puberty is killing me! I have a question for
those of you with older girls (with or without CAH). My girls have terrible
stretch marks on their hips. They look just like the ones when you are
pregnant. The doctor seems to think this just happens to some girls. I've
never heard of it, but their father's mother says she had the same thing. Has
anyone else experienced this? It just seems odd.
Other than that, we've been doing fine here. Hope everyone is doing
well!
Angi
